This week is military appreciation week here in Huntsville. Of course, we're no longer military, but I just happened to hold onto my id card which doesn't expire until next year...... The local botanical garden was letting all military & their families in for free all week, so I thought we would check it out.
My to my surprise, it was great. Plenty for Isabella to do. We liked it so much the first day that we decided to go back again a couple days later. There were water stations for the kids to get wet, a big butterfly pavilion (Isabella got to see a butterfly exiting a cocoon- very cool), and a big children's garden.
